From the home cooking pot to the world

Our first collection begins with wild boar and rabbit stew, based on a meal previously prepared by the host. Alongside it are oven dishes, meat-free meals and home interpretations inspired by different parts of the world. Our Balkan roots are a starting point, not a boundary.

The site is available in Serbian and English. Further languages will be added gradually with complete, adapted content.

How we create our content

Recipes use metric measurements; a tablespoon means 15 ml and a teaspoon 5 ml. Add salt gradually, as volume measurements and ingredient saltiness vary.

The initial collection was written for Tastivio with the help of AI tools. We do not use other people’s photographs or present these texts as copies of individual authors. Classic dishes and basic techniques belong to a wider culinary tradition; we do not claim to have invented stew, risotto or tacos.

New recipes are editorial proposals, not claims of completed cooking tests. The stew identifies its basis in an earlier home recipe, with a more detailed method developed for publication. When a particular version is tested, we will add notes on the results.

Illustrations today, photographs tomorrow

All initial images are AI serving illustrations, labelled on recipe cards and beneath the main recipe image. An illustration is not evidence of a cooking result and may differ from the actual plate. We will replace it with a photograph of a real preparation when one is available.

Wine is a suggestion, not a requirement

Every dish has a wine suggestion and an alcohol-free option. Pairings are editorial suggestions, not claims that we have tasted specific wines together with the dish.

What comes next

Kitchen testing, real photographs and a growing collection. Tastivio brings together home cooking, world flavours and wine to complement the food.
